My head’s been as empty as a plastic Easter egg for a long, long time.
I think in cashier scripts for work, and… that's about it.
So when I tell you that today slightly changed that? That’s huge.
Right now I’m writing this on my day off, after playing some Fields of Mistria, eating a big bowl of spaghetti I’ve newly been obsessed with, taking a nice nap with the window open, and going on a walk outside in 70 degree weather (21 degrees celsius).
At first, I brushed off these little nigglings that desperately chanted in my mind:
Game! Game! Game!
Pas-ta! Pas-ta! Pas-ta!
Nap time! Nap time! Nap time!
Psh, I didn’t deserve any of those things. I wasn’t productive with my day and couldn’t bring myself to even find anything to get into to, “move the needle forward” in my life.
But although that frustrated me, it allowed me to cave into my cravings easier. And boy, did I need to!
I don’t think I’d have the brain juice or energy to write this if I didn’t listen to what I truly wanted to do earlier today.
Note to self: Listening to myself should always be my top priority. Especially when I’ve experienced decades of loved ones who wouldn’t listen to my needs the way I needed them to.
Anyway, I had promised to share with you the things I omitted from my last post, and I wanna do that for you here!
Next time, I’ll share with you what I’ve been enjoying in March so far!
A few things in February

> Hitting the jackpot with quality ice cream pints
> Obsessed with these smells (grass bar from LUSH and Lazy Sunday Morning perfume from a sample my boyfriend gifted me)
> My first new lip products in years. I did a brief research of swatches in the store, then gave up and followed my wavering intuition instead and grabbed a handful. I’ll start trying them on when the natural light is flooding the house!
> Shaved off my insulated “winter fur” off the top of my head to feel more “me.” I have to wear my silk scarf around the house to keep my head marginally warmer, but it was worth it to find ways to feel like myself again.
> The cutest mug find at Goodwill; I couldn’t let it go or else I would’ve tossed and turned in bed with regret! I’m not a big mug-buyer, and I said I’d only buy a winter and fall mug to round out my small and curated collection… But I had to get this one. A must-buy! :)
> My English muffin obsession: spreading Kerrygold butter on top, and toasting it in the toaster oven until it starts to brown on the edges. It “fries” like the buttery side of grilled cheese bread in a skillet.
> This Substack post was so validating to find after struggling to read anything for months. I do so many of these things, and they really do help:
> Revisiting Dr. Joe Dispenza, I found this (and a few other) AI videos that I’m applying to my life.
> Dirty sodas and Monin syrups (My favorite is the cherry one so far. Makes the best cherry coke I’ve ever had.)
> “Brother, may I have some oats” now lives rent-free in my head
> Connective moments in vlogs, like this one! (It’s where I found the oats meme above, as well as a vaccum I’d buy one day, and was reminded how I wrote down traits about my dream partnership and manifested that!)
That’s it for this letter to your inbox! My list for March is already off to a substantial start, and includes the pasta that overrode my two-week sushi craving that I’ll share more about later.

And maybe before that, I’ll share a roasted tomato caprese recipe I literally ate nearly five pounds of in two or three weeks.
This is coming from someone who dislikes most tomatoes and is picky about how she consumes the very few she does!
See you then! ;)
Warmly,
Cierra M
