Sometimes I’ll record a podcast when there’s something on my mind at the moment that’ll lose steam if I were to lay it out into a written piece.
Other times, podcasts will be diary entries around my journey to creating a life of creativity and freedom I desire.
Here, is one of those podcast moments after Tiny Moments’ newsletter rebrand.

In response to this Refinery29 article.
So I went from testing out an app to record future audio narrations…
To getting on an 11-minute soap box to reprimand ANYONE’S friends or family for putting down someone else’s style.
Reading about Breanna’s mom pretty much going “YIKES” after Breanna got her hair done in a way that she said felt SO her, and she felt totally confident right before her mom saw it was pretty frustrating to me.
(Her cousin calling her ghetto later on during her hairstyle stint compounded that irritation for me).
Ultimately, if you don’t listen to this podcast monologue, I mainly said that even though it’s very unfortunate to have to fight for moments when we feel our absolute freakin’ best and is met with an extreme lack of support or validation…
It’s up to us to learn how to turn it around in the long run and have the tools to help us remain resilient in those times.
I just thought of all the lost potential and confidence in moments like Breanna’s and flipped a table.
I hate hearing people finally feel like they fit snuggly in their skin, like they could conquer the world (and probably could when that energy is that confident!) only to be deflated by those around them.
I’ve been there, so… I talked about it right after reading.
Because my flame about this was lit.
